The factory blade is worn out. I’m going to buy a new blade, but I’ve seen other kinds like fine cut. Should I get that if I’m cutting moulding and such?

I have a makita model # 2401b miter saw with a broken handle cover and it seems to be obsolete it sure is funny i can get every part i need from makita with the ex ception of this and the motor housing wich is the main item because without it i might as well ditch it and spend around another 350 bucks. Not on my watch!!!

Im in the market and my biggest concern is fit and finish .
I do custom trim, cabinets, doors, exc.. my old dewalt is on its way out and I dont like the new dewalts that I have seen and tried. Im thinking, makita, ridgid, or maybe bosch. I need something that can cut consistent accurate miters. any suggestions from experience would be great.
thanks for your time.
