I have a Ryobi 12 inch chop saw with compound angle settings. I want to know the angles to set the saw at for corner cuts on crown moulding with a standard angle of 42 degrees. I have heard there are charts for the compound settings based on the angle of the moulding.

Instead of going out and buying/renting a wet saw for a little backsplash job! These would be simple straight cuts…no funny angles etc.

I have a delta 8 1/4 inch compound miter saw. What do I set the angles at if I want to cut some 3 inch crown molding laying flat on the table?
